After much thought, I've decided the time has come to shut down DC Omega. I put a lot of passion into this site and the issues I wrote while the site was alive were some of the best I've ever written. Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough steam to keep the old girl going. Including myself, there were maybe three writers regularly producing content for the site. And even though the output was of a consistently high quality, three people just is not enough to keep a fanfic site going.

So I've made the difficult decision to close the site. We tried to bring some more focus to DC characters in a community that's almost entirely dominated by Marvel, and at first we nabbed a good number of writers. Unfortunately, those numbers didn't last and the site's output quickly dwindled over the past year.

Thanks to everyone who supported the site throughout its short life, either by writing for the site or by reading the stories posted here. The effort is appreciated. For now, the site will remain up as an archive, but no future updates will follow.
