MARTIAN MANHUNTER: One of the only survivors of the Martian race, J'onn J'onzz was teleported to Earth by the human scientist, Dr. Erdel, who immediately suffered a heart attack and died. With no way of returning home, J'onn used his powers of shapeshifting to adopt the human identity of private investigator John Jones. A founding member of the Justice League, J'onn has served with them through just about every incarnation and he possesses a wide array of superhuman abilities, including flight, strength, speed, Martian vision, invisibility, telepathy, and others, but is limited by his weakness to fire. |
